Clarksville Christian lost against the Stewart County Rebels back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Clarksville Christian took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stewart County. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clarksville Christian in their matchups with Stewart County: they've now lost five in a row.
Clarksville Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jesiah Sutton, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Judd, who scored 11 points.
Clarksville Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Stewart County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksville Christian and Christian Community will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Stewart County, they will head out on the road to face off against Henry County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henry County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Stewart County in Tennessee (Henry County is ranked 201st, while Stewart County is ranked 424th).
