Wild Rose's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tri-County Penguins by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Penguins on their court since October 1, 2019.

Wild Rose had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-17.

Wild Rose's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Tri-County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Wild Rose wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Tigerton on the 2nd. As for Tri-County, after both having extra time off, they and Port Edwards will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
