Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Triangle Math & Science's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Triangle Math & Science had won two straight home games and Alperen Yogurtcu did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Christ the King Crusaders, sneaking past 2-1 with plenty of help from Yogurtcu, who had ten digs and two aces. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times he's played.

Triangle Math & Science had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Triangle Math & Science is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Christ the King, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Triangle Math & Science wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Reagan on the 12th. As for Christ the King, they will welcome Langtree Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
