Softball Recap: Knippa Comes Up Short

Knippa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lanier Voks, falling 17-4.

Sophia Suarez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Ella Packer, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Even though they lost, Knippa always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Knippa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lanier, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Knippa will face off against Carrizo Springs at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Lanier has already played their next match (against San Antonio Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
