Soccer Recap: Del Mar Finishes Even with Overfelt

On Wednesday, neither the Del Mar Dons nor the Overfelt Royals could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Del Mar's goal came courtesy of Ricardo Alvarez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Del Mar's record now sits at 6-1-4. As for Overfelt, their record now sits at 0-3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Del Mar will host Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Del Mar is facing Oak Grove at the right time seeing as Oak Grove is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Overfelt, they will be playing at home against Piedmont Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Piedmont Hills will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Overfelt surely won't give up without a fight.
