Oblong had already won 14 in a row and they went ahead and made it 15 on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lawrenceville Indians. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win on Thursday.

Layla Krick paced Oblong's offense, picking up nine kills. Krick got some help from Brylee Murray and her 15 assists. Macy Krick controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Oblong's victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Lawrenceville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-16.

Coincidentally, Oblong and Lawrenceville will both be playing Effingham the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Hearts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
