Volleyball Recap: Akins Comes Up Short

Akins saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caldwell Hornets. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Akins' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Caldwell, they moved to 8-14 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Akins has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Klein Oak on the 28th. As for Caldwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Aggieland HomeSchool on the 28th.
