Basketball Recap: Ma'hasa Wilson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mckean over Brandywine

McKean played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Brandywine Bulldogs, falling 56-35. The Highlanders were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

McKean's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ma'Hasa Wilson, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Barlow, who posted seven points and five steals.

McKean is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Brandywine, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

McKean didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-37 win against Glasgow on the 22nd. Brandywine has also already played their next match, a 44-25 loss against Christiana on the 21st.
