Basketball Recap: Providence Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elk Creek last Tuesday, Providence came back down to earth. The Providence Lions lost to the East Nicolaus Spartans on the road by a 67-51 margin on Thursday.

Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for East Nicolaus, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Providence won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Redding Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for East Nicolaus, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Fort Bragg at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
