Softball Recap: Hill Country Christian's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Hill Country Christian scored first but ultimately less than Alpha Omega Academy in their match on Thursday. They fell 14-9 to the Lions. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

S Hill and S Barrett stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hill went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Barrett went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Barrett has hit this season. Another player making a difference was A Davis, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hill Country Christian fell to 6-1. As for Alpha Omega Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-12-1.

As of now, neither Hill Country Christian nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
