Soccer Recap: Whitney Plays to a Tie

After a string of four wins, Whitney's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They and the Jesuit Marauders finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Wildcats happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 30, 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Zach Laduzinski, who's now up to five this season.

Whitney's draw gives them a new season record of 8-3-7. As for Jesuit, they moved theirs to 3-5-7.

Whitney will be playing in front of their home fans against Folsom at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Folsom's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Jesuit, they will head out to face off against Del Oro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jesuit's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
