Torres is a perfect 6-0 against Roosevelt since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Toros will host the Rough Riders at 3:30 p.m.

On Friday, Torres came up short against Hoover and fell 6-3. The Toros have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Jordan Galindo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Roosevelt, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out McLane 3-2 on Friday.

Luis Estrada was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Estrada wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was David Meza, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for Torres, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything went Torres' way against Roosevelt in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Torres made off with an 11-2 win. Will the Toros repeat their success, or do the Rough Riders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
