Huron had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Margaretta on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Polar Bears 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Huron took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-9.

Mya Smith paced Huron's offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Reece Hotz and her 30 assists. Hotz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jenna Cox, each putting up two.

Huron's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Margaretta, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15.
