Mill Valley has gone a perfect 6-0 against Lawrence recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Jaguars will venture away from home to square off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. Mill Valley will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Mill Valley made easy work of Lawrence Free State and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 26-24, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Lawrence posted their closest victory since September 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Olathe East 3-2.

Lawrence was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (112-105), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-20, 25-27, 11-25, 17-15.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-14-1. As for Mill Valley, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Mill Valley took their victory against Lawrence in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
