Soccer Recap: North Stafford Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, North Stafford was not quite Massaponax's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 4-2 to the Panthers. North Stafford haven't had much luck with Massaponax recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Arthur Etoa wasn't going to let Massaponax walk away unscathed as he scored both of North Stafford's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

North Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-3. As for Massaponax, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 11-2-1 record this season.

North Stafford will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. Mountain View will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something North Stafford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Massaponax, they are taking a road trip to square off against Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
