Marist's game on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand the Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Marist, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Oregon Episcopal with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evie Olds, Kiara Philyaw, and Tori Sherman.

The victory (which was Marist's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three contests. As for Oregon Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Coming up, Marist is taking a road trip to face off against Silverton at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oregon Episcopal, they will venture away from home to take on Catlin Gabel at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
