Camri Hobbs commands the offense for a Bulldogs win

The Robinson Bulldogs came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 54-47 victory over Northwest Cabarrus. For Robinson, this counts as revenge for the 63-40 defeat Northwest Cabarrus walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Robinson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camri Hobbs, who scored 15 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Hobbs has scored at least 25% of Robinson's points. Ella Hobbs was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Robinson's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Northwest Cabarrus, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Robinson and East Mecklenburg will round out the year against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. East Mecklenburg is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Northwest Cabarrus will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against West Stanly at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Stanly has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
