Baseball Recap: Buffalo Grove Bison vs. Highland Park Giants
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Libertyville, Buffalo Grove was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the Highland Park Giants 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Buffalo Grove also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2018.
Ryan Stefani looked comfortable as he pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks).
On the hitting side, Michael Wolverton was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
Buffalo Grove's victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for Highland Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.
