Baseball Recap: Lake Norman Wildcats vs. Cox Mill Chargers
After flying high against Mooresville last Monday, Lake Norman came back down to earth. The Lake Norman Wildcats fell just short of the Cox Mill Chargers by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. Lake Norman has not had much luck with Cox Mill recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Riley Furrow was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.
