Volleyball Recap: Schenectady Falls to Ballston Spa in First Game of Season

Schenectady kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Ballston Spa Scotties. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Scotties when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Schenectady took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Schenectady will face off against rival Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ballston Spa is set to challenge their familiar foe Colonie Central at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
