Recap: Bradford Tornadoes vs. Atlantic Sharks
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bradford Tornadoes had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Atlantic at home to the tune of 42-0. The victory was just business as usual for Bradford, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Dae'jon ?6ixx? shanks was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Bradford pushed their record up to 11-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 8-3 Eastside and 7-3 Baker County (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 59.5% over those games). As for Atlantic, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Bradford's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. Eastside will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 177th, while Bradford is ranked 48th). Atlantic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
