Softball Recap: Crescent City Takes a Loss

Crescent City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Seabreeze Sandcrabs, falling 22-12. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 14-3 to the Sandcrabs when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Macy Stuckey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Allmon, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run.

Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Seabreeze, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

While Crescent City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
