            Football Recap: Lake Belton Broncos vs. A&M Consolidated Tigers        
        
		
        
        
             Lake Belton couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took  a  33-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the A&M Consolidated Tigers on Friday.
 Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Zyien Dupree, who rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of  Davion Peters, who picked up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Lake Belton's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Gavin Stewart and  Braxton Cope. Another thorn in A&M Consolidated's side was  Gavin Owen, who made 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended two passes.
 Lake Belton will take on McNeil at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for A&M Consolidated, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Forney  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
