Glenwood Springs came tearing into Friday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Eagle Valley Devils with a sharp 12-6 victory. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Jackson Irving was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Glenwood Springs pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Eagle Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
