 Harlan had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs), and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Barbourville Tigers by a score of  6-2. That's more bragging rights for Harlan, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Baylor Varner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. Varner was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run.
