Soccer Game Preview: Centaurus vs. Niwot

The Centaurus Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Niwot Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Centaurus will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Centaurus is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Holy Family get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Friday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Centaurus were the better team in the second half.

They hit Holy Family with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marius Salzberger (2), Luke Ackerman, and Tristan Helfert.

Meanwhile, Niwot sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Longmont on Thursday.

Niwot's victory bumped their record up to 5-2-2. As for Centaurus, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
