Basketball Game Preview: Bellaire Cardinals vs. Summer Creek Bulldogs

The Bellaire Cardinals will face off against the Summer Creek Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellaire knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Summer Creek likes a good challenge.

Bellaire is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Cinco Ranch with points to spare, taking the game 70-51.

Meanwhile, Summer Creek earned a 73-63 win over Ridge Point on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Bellaire is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. Summer Creek's victory bumped their record up to 24-12.

Bellaire came up short against Summer Creek when the teams last played back in November of 2023, falling 65-55. Can Bellaire avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
