On Friday Syrus Gray pitched one inning while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. The effort marked the fewest hits Gray has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one hit. This season, he has an ERA of 6.46 over 8.7 innings pitched.
