Basketball Recap: East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Sets Scoring Season-High Against University Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]). They took down the University Prep Pumas 58-44 on Friday. The Rivals pushed the score to 48-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pumas cut but never quite recovered from.

It was another big night for Penina Vailolo, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 18 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Kaydence Plotner was another key player, going 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points along with six boards and three steals.
