Basketball Game Preview: Pendleton Heights Arabians vs. Brownsburg Bulldogs

Having just played yesterday, the Pendleton Heights Arabians will jump right back in to play the Brownsburg Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Pendleton Heights took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Greenfield-Central 61-23. That looming 61-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Arabians yet this season.

Brownsburg hadn't beaten Noblesville on the road since November 22, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Bulldogs took down the Millers 67-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Brownsburg's win came from a few key players Pendleton Heights will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elle Mcculloch, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 20 points in addition to four steals and three blocks. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 47.2% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Laniah Walkine, who shot 56% from the field en route to 13 points along with eight assists and seven boards.

Brownsburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Brownsburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Pendleton Heights, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
