West Catholic posted their closest victory since October 8th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wayland Wildcats, sneaking past 3-2. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was West Catholic who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-12.

West Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 13-14-4. As for Wayland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-22.

Coming up, West Catholic will venture away from home to take on Thornapple Kellogg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wayland, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Cedar Springs on the 23rd.
