Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Akira Connor and Karla Araya-Jiminez Lead Lincolnton to Victory

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lincolnton and West Lincoln, and Lincolnton kept the tradition alive. The Wolves came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory didn't come easy: West Lincoln scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Lincolnton was led to victory by Karla Araya-Jiminez and Akira Connor. Araya-Jiminez had 26 digs, while Connor had 22 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Araya-Jiminez has posted since back in August.
