Football Game Preview: Alonso Ravens vs. Steinbrenner Warriors + How To Watch

The Alonso Ravens will face off against the Steinbrenner Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Alonso has four straight wins, Steinbrenner has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Alonso's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They claimed a resounding 45-0 victory over Middleton. Considering the Ravens have won three matchups by more than 38 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Alonso's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michael Pyne led the charge by throwing for 225 yards and three TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground. Will Mirabella helped Pyne out on the ground, rushing for 126 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Steinbrenner lost 40-14 to East Lake on Friday.

Alonso will need to focus on slowing down Rylen Dutka, one of several Steinbrenner players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 74 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and also threw for 199 yards and one touchdown. Jaydon Page was Dutka's top target, picking up 104 receiving yards and one score.

Alonso's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Steinbrenner, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Alonso took their victory against Steinbrenner in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 35-9 score. Will the Ravens repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
