Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Valders walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wrightstown Tigers on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-2. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Valders' victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Wrightstown, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-13.

Coming up, Valders will challenge New Holstein on Thursday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. Wrightstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
