Basketball Recap: Central Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Central Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 67-13 defeat at the hands of the Riverside Argonauts. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-11.

Riverside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bini Hopper, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 14 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jase Bennett, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Central Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Riverside, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Central Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 81-40 defeat against Northside L on the 26th. As for Riverside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-40 victory against Springs Valley on the 27th.
