Baseball Recap: Huntland Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cascade, Huntland was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Community Vikings/Viqueens, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since March 14, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Grant Jernigan, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jed Ashley, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
