Desert Christian extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Tyson Dobbins. The Desert Christian Eagles enjoyed a cozy 52-35 victory over the Benson Bobcats on Thursday thanks in part to Dobbins, who went 8 for 12 en route to 26 points in addition to eight rebounds and four blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Desert Christian's points.

Benson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jason Santo, who posted five points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Harley Vanwormer, who earned six points.

Desert Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Benson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.
