Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Okanogan). They blew past the Chelan Mountain Goats, posting a 56-26 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mountain Goats: they've now won eight in a row.

Okanogan found their leader in sophomore Tatum Gunn, who rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. Those 196 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Gunn. Another player making a difference was Wesley Allen, who rushed for 99 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Okanogan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 354 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Okanogan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hyrum Lyle and Allen.

Okanogan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chelan, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Okanogan will welcome Tonasket at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Chelan, they will head out on the road to take on Manson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
