Dodge City had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Liberal Redskins by a score of 70-61 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 81-53 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Liberal lost, don't look at James Fieser. Despite the final result, he shot 63% from the field on his way to 26 points along with seven boards and three steals. Those 63% field goal percentage gave Fieser a new career-high. Eathan Hernandez was another key player, putting up 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Dodge City's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Liberal, their loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
