Basketball Game Preview: Lyndon Tigers vs. Olpe Eagles

Lyndon hasn't had much luck against Olpe recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lyndon Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Olpe Eagles. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Lyndon came up short against Wabaunsee and fell 47-35.

Meanwhile, Olpe was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 48-42 to Eureka. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Tornadoes recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Lyndon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Olpe, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3-2.

Things could have been worse for Lyndon, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-43 loss to Olpe in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Lyndon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
