Softball Recap: Granite Bay Grizzlies vs. Del Oro Golden Eagles        
        
		
            
 There's no place like home for Granite Bay, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They won by a  run and slipped past the Del Oro Golden Eagles  3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Granite Bay also won the last time the pair played  back in April.
  Cam Lincoln spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Sami McKown was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3.  Grace Thorns was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI.
 On Del Oro's side, they got a good showing from  Mikayla Finn 2027, who   tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Gabby Enyart 2024 was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Granite Bay's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Del Oro, they dropped their record down to 7-19 with that  loss, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 As of now, neither Granite Bay nor Del Oro have any future games scheduled.
