Currituck County won the last time they faced Camden County and Jamie Dance did his part to make sure it happened again. The Knights put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 83-57 win on Friday thanks in part to Dance, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and 11 rebounds. His evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Another player making a difference was Tristan Peterson, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 20 points and five boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.

Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kai Miller, who posted three points and ten rebounds. Brayden Gray was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Currituck County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Camden County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Currituck County will head out to face off against Holmes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Camden County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-48 loss against Pasquotank County on the 6th.
