Softball Recap: Aberdeen Bobcats vs. Black Hills Wolves
Aberdeen won the last time they faced Black Hills and things went their way on Monday too. The Bobcats came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 6-2. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly four runs.
Lilly Camp was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Audree Gaddis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Ally Adams also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Aberdeen is set to face off against their familiar foe Tumwater at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bobcats 0.7, the Thunderbirds 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Black Hills will take on rival Centralia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
