Volleyball Recap: Mount St. Mary's Loss Ends 11-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Mount St. Mary faced Oklahoma Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rockets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Mount St. Mary had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Ella Hale paced Mount St. Mary's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hale got some help from Jentri Denwalt and her 26 assists. Anna Spurlock controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mount St. Mary's loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-8. As for Oklahoma Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
