After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cohasset, Sandwich was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Carver Crusaders with a sharp 10-1 victory. Considering the Blue Knights have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jenna Fay was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Clodagh Coughlan was another key player, going 2-for-5 with four runs.

Sandwich's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Carver, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Sandwich will challenge Diman RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Knights are facing the Bengals at the right time seeing as the Bengals are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Carver, they will head out on the road to face off against Rockland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
