Basketball Recap: Memphis Rise Academy Comes Up Short

Memphis Rise Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the University Tigers.

Memphis Rise Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for University, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Memphis Rise Academy will welcome Trezevant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Middle College at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
