Basketball Game Preview: Lee County Trojans vs. Bradwell Institute Tigers

The Lee County Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Bradwell Institute Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lee County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took down Clarke Central 52-33. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Gladiators are ranked 311th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Bradwell Institute over Rome in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Bradwell Institute was the clear victors by a 56-31 margin over Rome. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Lee County better keep an eye on Parris Parham. She was instrumental in Bradwell Institute's win, going 7-for-17 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. Parham is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Jamia Ousley was another key player, putting up four points.

Bradwell Institute smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 30 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Bradwell Institute has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Lee County and bumps their season record up to 19-9.
