Taylor County is a perfect 3-0 against Leon since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Taylor County will venture away from home to square off against Leon at 6:00 p.m. Taylor County is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Monday, Taylor County came up short against Madison County and fell 7-3.

Meanwhile, Leon hadn't done well against Florida State University High School recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Leon came out on top against Florida State University High School by a score of 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Kamryn Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits.

On the hitting side, Leon let Trinity Williams and Kierstyn Fuller run wild. Williams scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Fuller scored two runs and stole a base.

Taylor County's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Leon, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Taylor County took their victory against Leon in their previous meeting on March 6th by a conclusive 14-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Taylor County since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
