Soccer Recap: Wasilla Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Wasilla proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Lathrop Malemutes. Lainey Kroon had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Wasilla.

Wasilla's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four games. As for Lathrop, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.
