Gibault Catholic had won three straight games and KARMON GROHMANN did her part to make it four on Wednesday. The Hawks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the East St. Louis Flyers with plenty of help from GROHMANN, who had five kills and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Gibault Catholic was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12.

Gibault Catholic's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for East St. Louis, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.
